    Role Overview

    We are looking for an experienced 3rd Line Technical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing advanced technical support and leading complex projects for our clients. You will act as a senior escalation point and play a key role in designing and implementing solutions that drive client success.

    Salary

    £45,000 - £50,000 per year (depending on experience)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver highlevel technical support to end users via phone, email, and PSA/helpdesk systems.

    • Log, prioritise, and resolve support tickets in line with established SLAs.

    • Lead and execute IT projects, including migrations, deployments, and infrastructure upgrades.

    • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accurate, uptodate documentation.

    • Analyse existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across infrastructure, cloud, and networking environments.

    • Work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and a high standard of service.

    Essential Requirements

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Managed Services Provider (MSP) Environment.

    • Strong communication, analytical, and problem solving skills.

    • Demonstrated experience delivering senior level technical support and leading technical projects.

    • Solid understanding of security principles, endpoint protection, patching, and vulnerability management.

    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and virtualisation technologies.

    • Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell preferred).

    • Full UK driving licence, with willingness to travel to client sites when required.

    • Ability to interpret helpdesk data, identify trends, and recommend improvements or automation opportunities.

    Desirable Certifications

    • Microsoft certifications (e.g., SC200, SC300, AZ104, MS102)

    • Networking certifications (CompTIA Network+, CCNA)

    • ITIL Foundation
